For some time now, I’m building a wardrobe with an essential and timeless pieces in colors scheme which allows me to combine them endlessly. I’m aiming for slow fashion. I think that fashion consumption is incredibly high these days and I’m trying to do my part and slow down.
I’m doing pretty good when I’m buying the clothes in the stone shops. I have 3 rules. I called them 3T’s:
- TRY – I try the clothes. I take my time, I’m moving in the clothes and check thoroughly if everything fits. If something border you at this point, it will annoy even more later.
- THINK – At this point I’m trying to imagine how can I this particular piece to combine with others I already have at home. This is a fun part. The next one is more difficult. o)
- THINK AGAIN – Let the piece in the shop and wait 2-3 days. If you still think that you need this piece, now is time to buy.
With these 3T’s you have big chance, that you wouldn’t end up with wardrobe full of clothes and with hopeless feeling that you have nothing to wear. So let’s check some of my oldest post, if I followed my own rules. Because only time can say if it was good choice or not.
Here you find where I’m linking up my post: LINK UPs.
The most popular/clicked look last week had Shelbee from SHELBEE ON THE EDGE. Congratulations!
My favourite look had Laurie from VANITY AND ME.
