If you would like to see Singapore from above, Marina Bay Sands Skypark is the place to visit. This is the best place to observe this vibrant city and its skyline. If I’ll find something better, I’ll let you know. Because I didn’t so far.

The hotel Marina Bay Sands is a landmark. It’s three towers linked at the top with a deck which extends 65 meters out of the towers. The hotel was projected by Isreali-Canadian architect Moshe Safdie. The hotel is quite new, It was opened in 2011.

You need to buy tickets first. It is possible to do it online (HERE) or just at the ticket office which is accessible from the outside of the Tower 3. Than you can proceed to the lift. The lift takes you to 56th floor. And then you can start taking pictures and videos and enjoy  breathtaking views.  It looks like scene from some sci-fi movie. Specially when you are looking to the Marina Bay Gardens with Supertree Grove – Singapore iconic vertical gardens.

We visited the Observation deck a few times and the best time is cca at 6.30 pm. Then you can see the day view, to observe the sunset and to see night view as well. Day view is beautiful, but I like the night view more. If you would like to see only night view, you might be able to catch Supertree Grove light show – daily at 7.45 pm and 8.45 pm. And from from other side of the deck you can see laser water show Spectra – Monday-Thursday&Sunday at 8 pm and 9 pm, Friday&Saturday at 8 pm, 9 pm and 10 pm.

Marina Bay Skypark offers much more. There is a stunning infinity pool surrounded by a lush green garden. I’m sure you already see plenty of pictures from this fantastic pool on Instagram. Unfortunately, this part is accessible only for a hotel guests. I checked and prices for the hotel room are starting at 340,- USD.

Have your cocktail in SkyBar. The SkyBar has different access (lift) in the Tower 3 and it is on 57th floor. You need to buy ticket as well, but the price of the ticket will be deducted from your bill so it is definitely option to consider.
