What you really want and LINK UP

I’m curious… how is your “dream” life planning going on? I did the first step and I created the vision board for this year. I used the Subliminal Vision Boards app. It was very easy  to use. I like that I can to add music to it as well. In fact, it doesn’t matter which form you use. Can be the app, can be the actual board, can be just the list written in your diary….. What ever is working better for you.

More important is, that we need to ask ourselves the question “What do I want in my life?”. I did the small research. I asked a few people this question. And I would like to tell you about two tips:

1. Go deeper for your answers

The most common answer for my question was – the money. It is understandable, that we need money to realize our dreams. But don’t stop there, go deeper. What are the money representing? What exactly can the moneys help you to achieve? What for do you need the money? It can be a many things – for example: a house for the family, the possibility to travel the world, the possibility to leave 9-5 job and start your own company, a financial reserve which gives you peace of mind, etc, etc. And those things are what you really want. Those are things you need to put on your vision board or bucket list.

2. Be precise with words

I start with a funny story. My friend wrote on her vision board her dream “To see New York”. This is a very nice dream. One day she came to her office and on the wall was big poster with New York city on it. Her colleague found it inspirational and pretty and put it on the wall. So she was whole year looking at the poster of New York. But she didn’t visit it. I’m not sure if God (Universe, Mother Nature or whatever you believe in) has a quirky sense of humor or something was lost in translation, but I’m sure that we need to be very precise with words when we creating our vision board or bucket list.

Next time we will move on and have a look on another topic – how to set a goals.

Be you. Do you. For you.
