Isn’t the wrap dress the best option for a curvy figure? I think it is. It has almost magic ability to accentuate your waist and enhance so desired hourglass figure and at the same time to conceal what you don’t want to show (like hips in my case).

Even slight changes in your weight don’t matter. You can loosen the belt a little bit, and everything is fine again. If the hours in the gym start to show their fruits, you just tie the strap, and you are perfect to go. This dress is growing with you.

Feel like a woman, wear a dress!

Those were words of Diane Von Furstenberg, a world-famous fashion designer who introduced this simple and feminine dress to the world in 1974. This dress became iconic. After 45 years, the dress is still here, and it is the staple piece in every woman’s wardrobe.

The black dress with the yellow print I’m wearing on the pictures is one of my favorites. I have only one issue with this type of clothing. I understand that V-neckline is an excellent way to prolong figure optically. This type of neckline has a tendency to open up to wide and reveal too much cleavage. Especially on bustier women. Here are some tips about how to fix this problem:

  1. Safety pin – a temporary, but a fast solution. I’m always having some safety pin in my bag. They are lifesavers for almost any clothing malfunction.
  2. Sewing – a more permanent solution. It takes a few minutes to find the right spot, but you don’t’ need to think about your neckline since.
  3. Fashion tapes – I have never tried them yet, but I saw them on YouTube, and I think that is a great idea too. It is a two-sided fashion tape, and it seems that it can be quite helpful.
  4. Camisole – a fast fix is to wear a camisole underneath a dress. Unfortunately, this is not the best option for me in the humid tropical weather. I don’t like to add any other layer to my outfit.
